Mesmer who uses every 5 seconds a skill with 35 seconds cooldown
Necro who appears back on the point exactly 10 seconds after you have stomped him (I counted after the 3rd time it happened)
DPS Ele which health never drops under 10%, doesn’t matter how many people how long attack him.
Guardians and warriors with perma stability, which does not appear like a buff icon under their names.
Players who rally without any logical reason and then do it 3-4 times in a row just to make us sure there is something wrong.
And so on.
The numbers of PvP players doing impossible things increased seriously last week, I guess probably the guys getting their hacks ready for tournament.
If you google it you can find a bunch of sites, selling GW2 hacks, but some of them warn you not to use them in PvP because you can be reported and banned. Okay, but how to report these people?
First, there is no option to report them for cheating.
Second, most of them had in their names letters that I don’t have on my keyboard.
So what you do when you see these kitten? Do you report and how? Or you’ll never seen stuff like this?
Also haven’t seen any of those behaviors you described.

Makes me wonder. I don’t feel like I have ever seen an obvious hack in this game. I don’t think I can say that about any other game I have played and I have played a lot.
i havnt seen any of these thigns in pvp yet but on teamspeak ive heard of guildies who had seen someone using more than two different kidn of weapons and.. they do know how the warriors sword longbow hammer and greatsword differs
but i doubt we will see anything like this in the tournament of legends since the upper rounds (and maybe some more i dont know) will be shoutcasted and the risk would probably be way to high

Eyia, when you have targetted them you can right click their name on top of the screen and select Report. Or bring up the Scoreboard and right click on the name there.
Never seen this kind of stuff, you know fast pace. but i surely agree that combat logs is definitely BROKEN. seems like not only engi is using Automated Response?

Hmm I know how this sounds but I’m not paranoid, I know what I’ve seen and I was not the only one. 3 of these guys were in 1 team. I saw the warrior 3 days ago and the guardian last night.
I’ve played enough games to know what I can expect and what not. And I main a bunker guardian, tell me how a guardian without a buff icon or active aegis can stop shield 5 knock back?

If there were people able to execute bugs the way you describe, they would instantly be rising to the top of the leaderboards and everyone would see it.
I saw a post a while ago where the OP reported things like this going on. In all the time I’ve spent in pvp, I had never seen things like this happening….until the other night. A warrior used ride the lighting on me. I thought I was mistaken, but I saw him use it on someone else later on. ( it wasn’t bulls charge: he was enveloped in lightening and used the skill at the 1,200 range ) I reported him, but I had a hard time choosing what to report this under. “Botting” seemed to be the closest option, but it was in the middle of a fast paced match and quickly chose it. Is there a better option for hacks?
I think that sometimes people attribute certain rezes has hacks. Glyph of Renewal isn’t supper common in the meta now, and it’s animation is really minimal, but when attuned to lightening it can port the downed player to you…making it appear quite hack like.

yea I don’t think these are hacks I have never seen them and nobody I know has either so….. only thing I’ve seen are engineers who literally cannot be stomped. They are downed and my team repeatedly stomping them but nothing happens, and they cannot be cleaved for damage and eventually heal themselves back up.
I don’t think it’s a hack though I think it’s a bugged engi skill that is kittening things up.
I have never in the time that this game has been out have I seen any of this.The only hack you will see players using occasionally are speed hacks. I have called some out on it and they would leave the room quickly. Currently there are no hacks that involve permanent stability or immunity to anything as the coding for that would easily be detected.
Even though, I never encountered anything like this, I believe Eyia. His post doesn’t look like the typical “omg, i got killed, all pvpers are haxxors”-stuff.
About people not getting stomped, I have to say that there might be problems if you are lagging hard. I had this several times. I got downed, but obviously, the pppl trying to stomp me got my char displayed some meters away of where I am and so couldn’t stomp me.
But this also works exactly the other way round.
