Hey guys,

Coming back from a >year break from spvp and GW2 competitive, just wanted to know what the current meta is like? I left when Ranger spirits was huge and just curious what I should be ready to play against. I used to play at a high level and would love some help to get back to it!

The newest meta picks on NA are like:

• D/D Ele
• Rabid or Cele Engineer
• Hambow Warrior
• Terrormancer with double teleport stunbreaks
• Last pick is usually another Engineer or Ele.

It goes Guardian-less, and attempts to force 2-3 person skirmishes all over the map.

You forgot the super OP longbow power Rangers that every top team has.. That totally OP burst is uncounterable.

well... our overlords (TCG) still play the good ol warrior, ele, guardian, thief, mesmer thing and seem to win pretty much everything.

Sustain for everyone! Bunker wars 2.0 now with 100% more Celestial.

Celestial engi broken AF

Mesmer Thief + 3 dummies defending.

Self-sustaining Celestial builds that have no need of any support and Ranged > Melee with the exception of the Hambow Warrior.

THE NA META:

D/D Ele
Engineer
Necromancer

Why D/D ele & Engineer: Jack of all trades with its mobility, support, damage, conditions, condition removal, etc.

Why necromancer: counters ele and engineer and combos well with engineer.

Throw a hambow in there to soak up dmg and sit on point but not essential.
