Guild Wars 2

I was pretty pleased with the overall balance in pvp and how well it was put together. As soon as the new season started I immediately regretted spending a dollar on this game.

Now. I’m not a great player. But I do play games to have fun. your MMR is supposed to balance itself out and pair you up with other players, but at 100 games with mesmer and progressed very well with the class. I am emerald with 0 pip. 80% of my games are either complete blow outs, or complete devastation. I’ve tried pairing up with partners and it kind-of made the games a little closer, but then when it seems to be fun again, the complete tilt of all the matches go back to the same.

Will this change as the season goes on? or is this just how it is. It seems to be the same thing I’m seeing with everyone else. I hear of people on 11 game win streaks in solo Q. but yet when I am consistently one of the most effective players on my team as far as capping objectives, bunkering, and overall team play, the rest of my team tries to double/triple cap, or does things that I used to do on my first week of playing pvp.

This is 100 games on mesmer alone in ranked. With no posts by A net about anything or any consideration of anyones posts that I’ve seen in the last 48 hours, Basically is this just another cash surge into a corporate pocket that doesn’t give a kitten , or how Is A net normally. Like I said, I’m not claiming to be some great player, But I’m definitely not anywhere near my own skill level of teammates, even though I do dominate most of my opponents. It’s like I only play against my skill level, and team up with much worse.

I’m just confused. I Really liked this game for its pvp, but now It’s looking at the trash bin right next to RIFT

Unnranked will give you fair matches. If you’re hurting in ranked its not worth the sorrow. Good luck.

Its funny because in unranked I face the same kind of teams that I get put on in ranked and those teams just don’t have a clue and are easily beaten … why cant ranked be as fair as unranked ranked just isnt worth it anymore its a slaughter fest and the only ones who win are anets favored few the rest aka the majority is just there to get farmed so the elitests get easy wins and have short queue times.

If you ask me I think they know all of the fails here and have been reading all the posts and have been seeing the rage. I think what they are doing now is looking at the data at their end and possibly thinking "what can we do, have can we “sort of” fix this or make it generally better for the majority?"

But then again maybe I am just dreaming again or being too optimistic. :P
