When are new game modes coming out for spvp such as, capture the flag or just a death match type mode.

Just some advice for Arena net. I am a player who finds the current spvp mode very boring and don’t bother to play it. Now, if you put a game mode with capture the flag or team death match then i will be playing the game more aswell as all my friends.

I think that ladders and ability to rent private pvp servers are first priorities atm, and it seems like those things wont happen until january – february. When that’s done there’s still spectator mode that needs to be fixed and… well, getting the e-sport features to work. After that there might be new game modes, but I wouldn’t expect them until somewhere after first or perhaps even second quarter next year.

It’s funny how they just say: this game will be esport. It won’t.

I don’t have the exact quote, but they’re gunna try and push a ranking system, custom servers, and other similar features in first that will form the foundation for competitive sPvP before they start concentrating on expanding on game types. My personal guess is not until at least May before we see CTF or other desired modes.
