When can we expect matchmaking hotfix?
You didn’t hear? You can invite people to your party with more than 1 game under “there” belt, and queue as five with them to avoid any randoms who might not be up to your standards.
It’s kind of a pro trick, so keep it on the down low we don’t want everyone knowing they can do this.

o really gee you’re right i would have never guessed. but what if my friends aren’t online and I wanna get a decent game in Solo Que like I could pre patch? Ya mean I gotta wait X amount of time until my friends come back online to get a decent game in?
And by decent i mean people who know what they are doing and not running around with there legionaries 1v3-ing people.

This has been the quote since release……you would guess that you, as well as anet, would realize there are a ton of people interested in a functioning soloq.
The cop out: get a team.
Before that I want to see a hotfix that punishes AFK players.
I want to see a hot fix that prevents more than 2 of a profession on a team. I also want to see a hotfix that requires some sort of barrier to entering soloque. On top of that I want to see a hotfix to the targeting system so that if someone calls a target it keeps the rest of the morons on your team from going after something else because you have downed the called target 3 times and noone on your team has been able to get a stomp off but the opposing team has kept you from stomping because they focused you forcing you to peel and yet the other person is sitting there with noone on their team ressing and noone no your team stomping… Yup pro.
Stop dreaming – This is not going to happen anytime soon.

Dude, solo que hasn’t changed at all. I haven’t seen any of these “PvE Heroes” everyone is talking about, most games are won with a less than ~100 point margin with the occasional 200+ point blowout. Are you sure you aren’t in the trench que or something? I’m sitting at ~300 games with a 50% w/l ratio I know I’m no where near the top tier que.
I still dont understand the complaining, a perfect solo que system is impossible. You could spend the time complaining about it on the forums looking for more friends to que up with, hell even picking up pugs in the LFG or in the lobby is better… just ask for what role you want and tell them to have a mic or w/e.

Or we can switch to a game with a proper MMR system like wow, SC or any MOBA. Yes, that would fix the problem!

The grass isn’t greener on the other side, you wouldn’t believe the terrible people you meet in 5k+ in dota2, 1700+ HoN, etc… and WoW has solo que arenas now? That must be FUN.
The only problem with GW2 solo que is for some reason there is no full roster check, and games are allowed to start 4v5, which boggles my mind that arena net can let that slide while prioritizing making cash shop crap.
I would like to see auto kick (with dishonor) if you’re not out of your spawn in 10 seconds after respawn. Would solve AFKers.
I would like to see shorter warmup period with dishonor if you don’t join the game within the set period. Would solve most of 4v5 matches.
I am tired of being paired against 2 engis and a necro while I have no condition class on my team…

Cool story.
Do ppl with 10 games played total get matched with or against ppl with 10.000 in those games?
As 7 class 2300-2600 player in wow i can assure you. I would never in a million years meet any player in the arena at my MMR that has only 10 games played. Even ppl with 100 games played would be close to impossible unless its a smurf or boost.
To name a random GW2 example; i was in one game where we had Tage (one of the winners of the legendary tournament) and a guy who didnt even know you can weaponswap……in the same game.

And you didn’t take a screen shot? I don’t believe it one bit. I don’t get these horror stories from solo que. People generally say what they are going to do pre-game, and when we lose it isn’t because some idiot “PvE” baddie is being a turbo scrub… its because the other team was way more coordinated, or because the other team had a dedicated home bunker and we didn’t, or…
And I think out of the ~50 games in solo que I have played since the patch I have only once seen someone get called out, were some guy said “dont ever play thief again baddie” to some guy.
Solo que actually could benefit a lot from some kind of role system when you que, having some kind of distribution like 2 bunkers and 3 dps/other per team, but that would enforce a certain meta on solo que since there is certainly more strats then home bunk mid bunk with 3 roamers in between.
And you didn’t take a screen shot? I don’t believe it one bit.
How many screenshots do you want lol, i have 100s. In this recent screenshot we where in a 5v4 which turned in to a 5v3.
Amsterdam who is on the opposing team solod 3 of them multiple times that game. Ask that Jull guy who is in that screenshot aswell since he was the “victim” and i had a chat with him about it after the game. Quite sure he remembers since he tried to whisper the warrior aswell.
Nice matchmaking heh? People of similar skilllevel lol.
Or what about another screenshot displaying how amazing this system is. A guy who reached the top 2 spot after 15-20 games played. I saw him at far duelling a bunker banner regen warrior on a fully capped point for several minutes untill he gave up and ran off. The screenshot shows the chat i had with him afterwards. He basicly states he has nfc what he is doing….the system ranked him as second best in europe lol.:

Boggles my mind too. Why start a game with one team at an automatic advantage. The unbalanced team sizes are far too common a problem.

I was talking about the one with the legendary winner and the guy who didnt know how to swap weapons… that obviously didnt happen.
and only 1 person got called target the entire match? What is that.

Stuff like that yes.
You seem to collect screen shots of terrible matches, that would be the holy grail.
Here is another nice and recent example. My team filled with ppl with 10-15 games played max. I kill 2 at our homebase including that (former top 10) necro that whispers me how im the best engi he faced in soloq.
When i jump up to ledges above my point to check out whats going on at mid i see how they are all eating canonshots and getting 3v4ed in the process. Meanwhile telling me i shouldve helped (while 1v2ing at home at the same time).
