So, well… I am asking that, right there for all to see.

Did soloq yesterday and I played with Chaith, Morpheus, Lord Hand Hammer and some other random decent players. It’s never boring with good players sharing the matches.

Did win versus 2 premade. Was fun.

I would like to know this too…ele’s are hungry for build diversity…
I love ele and it’s my pvp main but if I had to play boring and horrible to carry (as soloQ) healbot build 2 weeks more…eh in 1.5 h will see.

I like that Capricorn is coming, but we NEED balance badly. It’s just way more important.

These HoT specs are out of control. Even with the new(old) map, the game won’t be fun if there’s no effort to balance these builds. Me and others will just end up leaving pvp for good.

Balance patches are bundled with the big content patches now, so it’ll definitely be at 26th July, unless they changed plans.

Personally, I’ve come to dread “balance” patches. It will be interesting to see which class is the golden child for season 4.

There should be one, other wise stagnating gameplay. There was a post on the rev forums saying they would fix a lot of the rev bugs on the next balance patch so whether or not they fix them, there will be a balance patch.

They don’t really balance for the low level population though…. I know it’s a higher percentage of the population but in the upper tiers dhs are garbage and we didn’t see any? (Could be wrong) in recent tourneys.

All I know is, if this balance doesn’t address HoT powercreep I QUIT.

Same here. It’s amazing how many more viable builds exist in roaming.

Which is exactly why I said I think dh or vanilla classes will be buffed…..

other than reverting the LB 5 nerf, I could care less about DH buffs, but BASE GERDIAN needs reworks (not just numbers buffs) badly.

base guardian is in a worse place than s1-s2 warriors.

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Go ahead and look at the nerfs and changes to these classes and you will clearly see that they don’t. Competitive play revolves around the common factor and that is the every day player who doesn’t play in PvP competitive. The pool of competitive players is so small compared to others. You need to think outside of your thought vacuum.

More than just the pro leaguers can use their character to a pretty great potential, and continue to improve. Let’s say the average player performs averagely, and sometimes performs ‘good’ when they focus.

ArenaNet balances with the assumption that the players are playing ‘good’, it doesn’t mean ultra competitive. If you play ‘good’ you will find the meta builds across all professions stack up pretty well against each other in conquest.

Recent DragonHunter nerfs in 2016 kind of go against this principle, as it’s underpowered when you’re playing ‘good’ and vs ‘good’ enemies – this is because occasionally balance in PvP is affected by other game modes.

I would actually say it was because it was already subpar in competitive play and so ridiculous to the low tier that it didn’t matter if they nerfed it as long as they thought of a way to resurrect it all around.

Then again I understand red circles are bad and dh has red circles…
