Where do I fit in?
how do I know which areas of my gameplay I need to improve?
Watch replays of your matches.
I fight people, sometimes they kill me, sometimes I kill them. Fun is had by all. [/quote]
What class do you play by chance. Also if you want to test your mechanical skills (not map rotations etc) you can go into a dueling server and see how you do against different people and classes. Yes some of them in there suck but some are also good. If you are familiar with the competitive scene, look for familiar names and ask them to duel. A lot of great players hang around in dueling arenas (not all of course). Send me mail in game, maybe I can take a look and give you some additional pointers or something. Again, depending on what class you are. A lot of people overlook simple mistakes that are huge game changers to increasing their skill. They are just set in the way that they have been doing it for a long time. Doesn’t matter either way but if you are looking for pointers I might be able to help a little.

I really wanna try my hand in competitive play. My question is how do I break into the scene?
I host a weekly 5v5 tournament that is (currently) held on Saturdays. This is for newer players/teams to intermediate players/teams. It’s a good place to start if you’re looking to break into the PvP tournament scene.
Unfortunately my post was un-stickied so I will resort to posting this link for you if you wish to try it out: battlefy.com/academy-gaming.
I used to run the Academy Gaming tournaments for GW2.
