Asking a legit question.
Roaming is important because you want to be able to push out the Bunker based on the roamer and allied point holder’s capabilities.
Point holding is important because points simply win games.
However, the question is which of the two is the bigger responsibility and why?
Obviously, EVERYTHING is important. But in your opinion in more simple terms, which of the two roles have the biggest impact in matches?

Roaming is probably the bigger responsibility because -
1. If you fail to reinforce quickly enough, your bunkers are gonna get owned.
2. If you fail to backcap correctly or you make the wrong decision regarding where to go, your bunkers will get owned for nothing.
3. If you fail to keep track of what enemy players are where at any given time, you won’t be able to capitalize on gaps in enemy strats.
Roaming in general just requires a lot more map sense.
Point holder imo, if you don’t have a good point holder (mid) it doesn’t matter how good of a roamer you have. Point holding is more than just standing on a point and surviving enemy waves; buffs, stability stomping, healing, knocking people around/holding them, being able to hold 1v1 and some 1v2 indefinitely so your roamer doesn’t need to return 24/7.
Roaming is important too but if your bunker fail they have nowhere worth roaming to anyway.

The dude above me pretty much said nailed it.
First of all, it all comes to bunkers, if you can bunker well and keep your points, then it all lays down on better roamers. However if bunkers fail roamers wont fix it, If roamers fail bunkers can still pull it off somehow.
