Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Who would stay after GW3?
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
They’re still considering different types of gamemodes. Also, there will never be a GW3. GW2 will just keep evolving to eventually become GW3 they say.
On topic though, sPvP is growing in GW2. It got off to a fairly rough start with the lack of tools and newbies being scared away by constant slaughterings. Now they’re fixing some of that, and sPvP is on the rise. It’s only a matter of time.

Guess I will come back 4 years later and maybe they will make a deathmatch by then.
GW1’s PvP population was at least 50 times GW2’s after 1 year of release. 90% of them tried GW2. Nearly all of them left. So.. yeah, kinda growing I guess. Some years and we can beat up a homemade f2p game.

Unless they’re planning to go as far as revamping some core systems to fix or improve several issues with this game, I can’t see this.
No. I am actually going to take a huge break playing a bit of League of Legends but mainly going back to Aion since from what I saw they definitely made it more western.
I am at the point where I tried to love this game but can’t. I tried to have passion and motivation but completely lost it. I am just an empty vase right now trying to find water to be filled.

Aion, now Westernised for your pleasure by Guild Wars 2 RNG chests.

At this rate no one would ever try gw3, i know i wouldnt, and i know that this situations keep going and im not going to stay in gw2 very long.

They have not fixed anything. It only changed because all the good PvPver’s left the game and now the vast majority of those left are decent to bad. Very few, I can’t stress how few there are, great players are left.
I would. This game is the most fun I’ve had with PvP in an MMO I’ve had. It has a steep learning curve, but I really enjoyed it, even if it was littered with failure at times on my part. I’ve played a few other games PvP and never got into it, but I did with this one.
The problem is three part:
1. Conquest is boring as the only game mode. There needs to be some type of deathmatch.
2. The new maps are not as good as the previous ones. Skyhammer is a cool concept, but is a horrible map from a competitive standpoint.
2. WvW is way more popular than expected. I’d imagine it is quite a bit more popular than PvP in terms of time spent there.
