First of all why do we even need the whole league idea anyway? There was a time back with the old MMR leaderboard and solo and team queue where leaderboards were basically always on. Off seasons are so painful most of the better players dont even play I cant even practice new builds/classes correctly because most matches are terrible and Im either maneuvered into uneven fights by teammates bad rotations all match or the opposition is so bad they manuever themsevles into fights giving my side at least +1 all match and the fights can basically be won by me pushing random buttons. I don’t know why we have to have leagues at all. Keep everything we have badges, better rewards, and even titles. The titles can just poof if you fall out of a certain spots on the leaderboard. I think it would increase pvp activity over all to just leave this stuff active all the time. I cant help but think the whole league idea came about b ecause of the e-sports stuff they have obviously abandoned.

Leaderboards can’t always be on because I need some time after a season where I can relax, not worry about winning or losing and have fun when I play pvp. It is nice to have some time when I don’t feel like smashing up my computer after every loss, having to use every bit of willpower I possess to not rage at my bad team mates every game and stopping my play session in a terrible mood if I lost a lot of rating.

That is only a slight exaggeration as there really were some times I felt like that. I need some time where I can relax and not worry about losing a game and having that disgusting platinum badge next to my name.

Right now I enjoy pvp a lot and I love doing inhouse scrims with my guild without feeling like I have to play ranked to gain leaderboard positions. I think it would hurt the community to not give them some time where they can get used to new balance, test builds and just have fun.
