does it need to be said that it divides players. im not competitive by nature and but this just makes me not want to log in anymore. I’ve played 2700 pvp matches total on my record, yet im down the bottom. and you expect me to want to play the same maps ive been playing over and over again for 3 years, to grind my way up the tiers? what a way to make all that time i played feel like a waste.

no thank you there are other games i can play with new content. bye..

so people can see whether you farm dead hours as premade or solo queue during daytime

farming game isn’t fun. guild wars 2 is not fun anymore its got even more stale with this especially the pvp. the new pve maps are just as grindy but at least the maps are NEW.

Playing better games is really a option OP, i’m actually having fun on them. Sadly GW2 is going downhill after the xpac, now they want to force everything in your throat and what remains is only the bad taste.

I just realized you can even see it in pve, looks pretty silly if everyone has this i in an orange box next to his name.

What other new games are you enjoying?

I bought a lot last black friday so i’m playing one by one (Zestiria ATM), i love J-RPG’s and visual novels =p some new titles too but not MMORPG. If we stay just in the genre GW2 still is one of the few options sigh, that’s why sometimes when i’m really tired i’ll take a break out of the genre and prob back to GW2.

I just hope that anet stop with the crapness and let the players do what they want to do, i just want to have fun and not farm sPvP like crazy cuz i have a division on my head or be locked 2+ hours on a map to do a meta event. sad face

Considering that EVERYONE starts at the same place and there’s no placement matches or anything of the sort, it really shouldn’t matter considering that the Division next to your name is mostly just a function of time spent PvPing, right?

I agree. I don’t like that the league division number is visible on our name. It’s just ugly when you see a bunch of name tags with numbers all over the place.

To compare kitten size, essentially. Remember when rank was visible? pepperidge farm remembers

With how long the grind can be to get to legendary ( especially since the system is trying to push you to 50% winrate ), I’m not even sure that many people will manage to do it in only 2 months. That seems awfully short for a season.

Yeah yet another completely useless icon on the name tags, wish it could be turned off. Visual clutter all it is, without adding any useful information outside PvP.
