hi i am talking like a guardian, a DPS guardian
i have been trying the dps guardian since the beggining of the game and it has been useless most part of it
it was usually played with soldier at first, nowadays i use zerker if a have the opportunity to play in tourney with it
the problem is that the dps guardian has no real damage because his dps combos are so easy to evade than even a blind player can evade them, and the only way to make them turn into real damage is playing signet, so your final survavility is useless if you play zerker without protection your maximum life is about 15k

what can i dps guardian do in a 1v1 against most classes?
i can only beat thiefs( if they decide not to runaway xD), warriors and guardians holding a point
other proffessions shoul beat a dps guardian in a 1v1 unless the dps guardian is much more skilled than them(very much)

when will dps guardian be at least useful for tourneys, when will a team look for a dps guardian before trying to get any other proffesion?

pls dont speak about team support and that kittens XD
is more useful a necro with fears and res than a guardian protection

Try that.

Before you complain about your dps guardian, look at how pathetic dps ranger, necro and ele is first…
The game mode does not favour burst, and Anet try their best to nerf burst dps build as much as possible because this game does not has real healers to counter burst.
(thief is a goo example)

L2P and get used to adopting game mode.

“Buff guardian more so I can kill everyone with the build I love!”

To be honest we don’t need buffs at all, unless other classes that are fairly balanced now get buffs.

We have really strong Burst, DPS and Bunker builds.

Zerk guardians are AoE dps monsters, but there’s a trade off: it’s slow and easy to avoid. No acess to swiftness = any dodge roll will leave your opponent out of your range. And since the range is so small, you need to setup your combos!
