Guild Wars 2

Given that we already have a very strong 5v5 mode, and Stronghold is seemingly built with 8v8 in mind (being such a large map with a variety of objectives) why is Stronghold not 8v8?

Because of no healers.

The rolling zerg force would be pretty bad.

I don’t consider stronghold a large map.

If it was 8v8 you could just zerg it with no strategy necessary.

My guild ran our “Pvp night” and we ended up with so many people that we tried 8v8 conquest on our custom arena. Have to say, it was pretty awesome and WAY better than 5v5. Though i think it would require only team queues, because as either a solo or hotjoin i could see the zerg getting out of hand.
