They buffed pet’s survivability? By what, increasing their hp pools to 15k hp? The only pet that got survival increases were drake with doubled hp and bear with more armor — neither of those are used in pvp.

Some pets got a 300-400-700 toughness increase.

Not the raven or jaguar, which are the DPS pets rangers take.

Nobody uses bears or drakes in pvp. Or pigs.

Whine away on your warrior, though. Given how much attention you consistently get on patches, it’s a matter of time before warriors get to have full uptime while keeping thief burst levels of damage on plate armor and about 6-7k more health.

At least thief dagger is single target.

Obviously you haven’t actually played Warrior in PvP.

And no, Warriors haven’t gotten attention to their blatant issues at all throughout these patches. Buffing Warriors in PvP by increasing their strength in PvE? Heck, it even took a month to hotfix the Frenzy they broke themselves.

I would take the ranger pet, because the ranger is useless without the pet, and the warrior is useless anyway so, yeah.

nice thing about ranger pet is you can have your pet attack a enemy bunker all day long and the pet will never die because bunker cant deal high enough damage to kill pet. oh and the pet doesn’t count as a person so its like 6v5.

I have to admit it sure kitten es bunkers off when they are stuck with a constantly attacking pet.

They really need to put a limit on pet leash

Warrior is good in real fights where everybody zerging in middle and nobody care about points.

Also, the leash range seems more like a bug than anything else (maybe not a bug but an unintended function).

Since rangers can only tell the pet to attack a target within ~1200 range (might be 1500 but still), yet the pet can travel up to I believe ~4000 range (could be less or more, just guess-timating) to the point where the ranger is no longer even considered in combat, it doesn’t seem like an intended function.

1800-2000 should probably be the maximum range (slightly outside of bow range). Current F1 range should be the minimum (about ~1200-1500).

I don’t even care if this is a joke/troll thread, kitten off with it. Ranger pets are fine. If any of my pets get nerfed I’m coming after every one of you.

Nw, I’m not a ranger pet. I’m a necro minion. Just one shot short of half as good as a quarter of you. =) Because I’m bad on Thief, but 10 minutes on ele and I win all 1v1s. Yaaay… I’d feel for warrior but 12-20k gunflame…

LMAO I remember this thread from ages ago.

There was a time when your pet could chase and attack an opponent across the map.

In Khylo for instance, you could cap mid while your pet is out attacking your targeted opponent at far.

When i lose duels on other classes i just log my ranger and make the pet do the work as i LOS around a tree

It’s a good thing more people don’t use Drakes =)

Melee (without stealth) are the Easiest class for Rangers to handle, just saying.

Thief burst, LOL, i bet thief burst on golem, cuz if your thief and u try to burst warrior he will simply “endure” it roll gs3 on you and if all 3 hits crits thief will have to run away instead of “bursting” LOL

They buffed warrior by giving it taunt to bring it more inline with ranger pet.

I remember a thread where the best suggestion for a ranger elite was like this:

“transform into a warrior for 10 seconds”

This was rated as OP and never got in-game…

necro had this Place from launch till hot launch, now non-condi necro is slightly better than ranger pet if they can get close to ranger before dying.

This thread is the second best in this subforum after the “gf left me cuz of ladderboard” one.

The funny thing is that, with pets like smokescale and elite spec like druid, this topic was never more relevant than now.
