Another patch, another near nothing change.

Dev’s of ANet, you stated you track forums? We dont see this, at all.

Nobody asked for yet another flawed conquest map. Since you have a hard time, let me summerise it for you.

1: Custom Servers: So players can play against people in peace, 1v1 or 5v5, train and theorycraft.

2: Actual ladders and rankings. (no explenation needed)

3: BALANCE, by far the biggest issue, warriors need trait revision, you now broke mesmers, ele’s finally got pve/pvp split (You woke up?), thieves stealth still needs reworked (not broken or OP, just a bad mechanic the way it is, not fun for new players to fight against, thus making them leave and not growing the pvp community.)

4: Revision of the point reward system in matches, Capping points does hardly anything, farming glory is done by zerging around in Hot Join not caring anything about the capping points.

5: Different game mode, Conquest doesn’t work, never has never will, games tried this mode before, nobody is interrested in it.

6: Tournaments need to give an actual reward! Thankfully QP has been removed, but nothing was placed in return, and the chests where now handed out as candy, so you just slapped all dedicated tourney players in the face with a bigkitten

7:Viable builds, still either, condi, burst or bunker, and it depends on class, this simply means that your game-mode vs traitlines pushes people to these builds, others simply don;t do anything, because they don’t synergize with the team / gameplay for this mode.

8: Matchmaking, you state you have one, but..you don’t, where is teh lobby? the “interactive” lobby called the mists is not working, get a list one can register on, can’t be that hard to implement this, should be combined with an actual ladder / ranking system.

well there are more points, but start with those and you should make a lot of people happy. I withdrawn from PvP a while ago, and simply do it for the daily only, 15 mins a day.

Get your community back into PvP if you REALLY do want an E-Sports. March will be make or break.

Yea anet plz consider #5, right now I can already imagine the excitement of a team deathmatch. Just imagine the thrill you get when fighting with your team side by side knowing that every move counts, every little mistake will count, and its not like you can just run away, cap some points and win…

No you will have to think together as a team, and if you’re initially losing, then you can retreat a little or lock down whatever is hurting your team the most. Finally the most important reason is that there’s always a hope for a comeback victory unlike in conquest where being down by like 100+ most likely means you will lose. If a different pvp mode can spark excitement in a pvp’er like me, then it can also excite many others just as well, and it is this feeling of pure thrill that will keep pvp alive!

Yeah, I don’t get it either.

Nobody is expecting Rome to be built in a day, but we do like to see steps in the right direction with every patch.

The balance changes are what is especially disappointing. Most classes still use less than 50% of their abilities most of the time and have maybe 3 viable builds. Where is the progress towards more build and ability variety?

I certainly don’t want to be using the same old 3 abilities on my Thief I’ve been using for the past 5 months now.

Instead we get a couple of fixes which are fine….and completely arbitrary balance changes that don’t make sense half of the time…and are ineffective the other half of the time.

I’ve gotten more excited about a single patch in WoW than I have over all combined patches in GW2.
