Anet really needs to stop being lazy and split pvp from wvw/pve like they did in gw1. Trying to balance between all modes has proven to not work so why are they being so stubborn about it? I would love to see whole new trait trees for pvp/pve but I know that is a lot of work. It would make us feel we have more choices since you can give us traits just to use for each game mode, instead of having certain useless traits that you will never use. Though we are paying a lot for HoT such as $100 for items that should be counted as a pre-order bonus and not as additional items you put it the gem store.
All the guard mains I know all say burn is too easy to use in pvp but nothing has been done about it. But its a nice build change to use in pve. Some say just bring condi cleanse, but it only took anet 1 hour to nerf mesmer condi. Why coudln’t you just say bring condi cleanse back then? Just one example of why it should be split between game modes.
Btw PU isn’t as big as a nerf as people think it is. You don’t need that amount of stealth in pvp unless your just trolling. In that case thank the mesmer for the easy win. As for wvw always made me laugh at people complaining about it here. All I see from roamers are people who want to fight random guys who don’t even have pvp builds for easy kills.
I’m fine with the builds currently and I can adjust for now. But all I see is anet failing to balance between multiple game modes and can you actually nerf things in small increments. Why is everything nerfed by 50%. What made these things work the first time if you have to nerf it so much later.
