So I recently found how fun it can be to do sPvP with your friends. And I was introducing my friend to it. However, he wasnt comfortable with being thrown into a match, so we joined an empty server for some 1v1. Someone joined that server not even 2 minutes into our duel and ruined the experience for him.

My question is; Why aren’t there servers for dueling? And if they’re put in, I believe they should have an “observer” feature so people can watch the duel

Or they could implement a duel feature not just in a server. You could request a duel anywhere but cities and then just duel it right there instead of having to go to a spvp server to duel. But yes I do agree a dueling feature would be nice to see.

They’ll be added eventually, just not added yet. They told everyone they’d add these features like a month ago, and I think the major pvp update that may include them will be sometime in feb.

duelling is funny, i hope that they will introduce something like that with some feature (rewards or something like that) for make it more interesting

Simple answer is because Anet doesn’t care about the PvP community.

I’d advise jumping to WoW or any other MMO that allows you to 1v1.

Hate to tell you but they are talking about games that are “now” not “then”.

The PvP-Team working on GW2 is not the same as the one for GW1.

My point still stands. It took them 4+ years to develop GW2? And all they had to show for it was 4 maps and 1 game mode?

And now 6 months out of release we have 5 maps, 1 role for some classes to role, 1 meta, serious class imba, 1 game mode, 8v8, being able to change character mid tournament game.

And how many updates has Pve and zerg v zerg had? Too many.

I second that idea, or a areana system like wow, this isnt the same thing but if i could even challenge someone on the world map that would be great.
