What’s exactly the problem? You could even make an elo-system for random free tournaments. (elo-hell incoming in GW2 :> ).

I mean, it was a huge success in wow (at least from a pvp-view) and it’s amazing in any moba. So what exactly speaks against an elo-system? Why isn’t it already here?

EDIT: What the hell are those tournaments anyway? I don’t exactly get what they are here for.

they said they are working on some rating or at least its on their priority list… but it should already be in the game from release and its one of the reasons why many pvp players left imo :/ so many unfair games…

No infrastructure, solo players getting que’d vs. premades, close to dead PvP population, and some maps just doesn’t even require strategy such as Kylho being a total joke and portals still breaking the game even though its 90 seconds, ANET making certain classes required such as Mesmers in turn being no different from preachers telling people how tPvP should be played. Took League a year to become an e-sport with an ELO system, hopefully within that time ANET gets their sht together and prove better than RIOT games.
