Why no more SoloQ?
Yeah, there are several very good reasons for that:
No solo q coz its faster to find match for premade team and not full teams, they just get solo players.
Hello,
Few weeks ago i decided to get into GW2 again, especially sPvP. However it seems that the SoloQ was removed, can someone explain to me why this was done?
Ok a few things,
1) insane long que times
2) serious skill gap, you would have serious elite players vs new players because of the time. I seriously waited 15 min got into a match and not 1 person was worth the time in a 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2
3) at the time skyhammer and the orb map werent as equal as it is now
I would like to here your reason for a solo que, because if were being honest about the mmr. If your bad in solo ques in unranked and ranked now you will be bad in solo que aswell.
Example today someone told me i shouldnt play unranked because it wasnt fair since him and his friend was new to the game. So i went to ranked since im a understadning person.
there are also reasons against that…
if you add soloQ + fullQ, people who want to play with few friends but don’t have full team can’t play…
if you add soloQ + restQ, teams of 4 can’t really play because solo players will be in soloQ and system can’t fill the remaining spot in their team, also 2+2+1 isn’t possible or 3+1+1, making the queues take much longer…
adding more types of queue doesn’t make sense because it would split playerbase too much…
the best solution is what we have now and make matchmaking rules a bit more strict when matching teams, so teams of 4 or 5 don’t meet full solo etc

Also if i may point out if your new to the game or arent very good you wont be facing good premades. Ive ran into alot of premades but it didnt change anything. People seriously believe that nothing is there fault.
No matter if its premade or not if you win the 2 vs 2 or 1 vs 1 on points it gives you team the advantage so if you have a player who loses the 1 vs 1 at home or far and you lose the 3 vs 3 at mid etc your gonna lose no matter what.
