The main point of nerfing might was to put Cele engineer and elementalist more in line with other profession in spvp.

Those two profession can keep about 15-20 might during a fight. Limiting might to 20 would change zero about cele engineer and elementalist removing all reasoning behind the nerf.

lol they still have their condi damage and people who are actually physical dmg dealers get twice as kittened considering thats our one and only stat. so cele engis and eles who are condi and physical only get half the nerf that we do why is everyone saying its to combat cele ele and engi when clearly there are other ways of doing so besides harming those who use phsyical dmg only

Condi damage benefits more from duration than it does from might. Condis scale with might but they scale pretty poorly compared to physical damage.

For condis except for burning, and poison. Their dmg is scaled by haw many stacks are applied more than how much dmg each stack does. Duration of those stacks is whats going to prevent those stacks from falling off and allow more stacks to be applied.

We told anet the reason the game isn’t balanced is becasue of runes and condis. These new runes off longer durations of condis and might. They chose not to listen. It is what it is.

Lol yeah all those bomb/Flamethrower engies in tpvp.

Engi with Hoelbrak and Battle maxes out at 9-10, soon to be 6-7, fully stacked. Might stacking on Engi is truly meh, and has lots of opportunity cost. After the patch, I’m playing Cele Engi with 0 might and it’s not falling a tier from the way it looks.

Just reduce max stacks from 25 to 20…

That way you nerf the might stacking abusers, and not ALL classes/builds that use “some” might.


The nerf you do now is more nerfing the general builds using some might, but nothing vs 25 full stacked abusers.

If you are only using some might. Say on average 3-5 stacks, what are you complaining for?
