Dear ArenaNet,
have u ever considered there are teams awaiting for months to have a chance to compete in pvp scene at good level? You really wanna do a tournament giving opportunity just to 6 teams to compete – 4 already decided ( chosen between teams already in proleague ) with no opportunity for others teams to show their potential? Many player even that are not playing anymore would like to return back if u d just give em the possibility to fight for something in competitive scene. Everyone will be greatfull to you if u ll make a new challenger cup open to everyone before wildcard tournament or making this tournament open as old ToL to any team wanna partecipate. The best teams anyway will shine but u must give to everyone an aim in this game. Do not even reserve 6 spots… but 8 or 10. Your target should be getting this game more fun and more esports, trying to let the community grow up. It seems you are doing everything possible to let this game die decisively. Try not just to read these posts without taking care of what community says. Advices are made by players who tries getting this game better.

Making it this way is not necessarily bad, but there needs to be something else happening. Like maybe actually have a proper Guild challenger league with a tournament at the end after each season and let the winner of that tournament join the Wildcard Tournament, or give them something else. But just, make it possible for challenger teams to be able to challenge the other teams
