Just like the title says. I know matchmaking has been a thorn for awhile, but with leagues, I assume, a week or two away it would be really great if we could have more balanced matches.

They’ve been horrible for the entire month. I’m up against guilds and tournament winners, with people brand new to pvp on my team. It doesn’t make any sense.

Well unranked has its own separate mmr so if people don’t have many games played on unranked it’s going to be off a bit. I’ve been seeing huge swings in games. One game get demolished one game demolish the other team.

I have over 2,000 games.

This month they have all been either getting demolished or very few close wins. It wasn’t always this way.

I guarantee the awful matchmaking has forced more people out of sPvP or GW2 than any type of balance issue.

BUT WHO CARES? Just give out $400,000 to 0.01% of the sPvP players and forget about everything else.

Tbh, I don’t think they have any clue what’s going on with matchmaking. For now, I’m giving myself a break from spvp.

To me it was downright horrible the first week but now it seems to be getting better. I get way more rank 80s and less newbs, matches last a little longer and are closer.
I still get a lot of 500-100 matches but I think that is more due to people AFKing as soon as they fall behind rather than bad matchmaking.

TBH it feels like they ninja reset everyone’s MMR with HoT.

Maybe they did a ninja reset for mmr. Though I still think the matchmaking needs an overhaul.

It’s silly, I can’t even get a decent amount of points, which I think leagues will be based on, because too many of my teammates afk and I end up in outmatched situations or where I get spawn camped.

The thing I hate the most is how the system forcely push keeps you down as soon as you win 2-3 matches, why is that a bad thing to have constantly a team on par with your skill level?.

Ok you can’t win always but a forced blow out is really frustrating and infuriating, just remove this 50% win rate lock already thank you, if you deserve to win you should…but the system wants you to lose at all costs why?

I simply can’t win 1vs5 fights! My team constantly blow up in 3-4s, I can support as much as I want, I can down targets as fast as I can..nothing help, they just go down in 3-4s, the skill difference is outrageous, so outrageous that you can’t help but ask yourself if any matchmaking is in place…

This has going on for well over one year and never I repeat never a single developer had the decency to answer any of my questions.

I admit that I can be overly “sarcastic” with some comments but now I’m being serious, I’m asking please to give me an answer, all my purchases ( gems+expansion) should entitle me at least for some kind of explanation.

If a single dev would come on the forums to say :" hoey guys MMR is off right now, soon to come back", I would understand..but right now nobody knows what is going on, we only know that the situation now is unbearable.

I know right. .. or ppl stay in everlasting 4vs2 or 3 fights. Where u are that lone guy that has to solo 2-3 on sidepoints.

I’ve noticed this too. I’ll go to cap home or an open node, get double teamed fight for a good amount of time only to look up and see that in a 4v3 situation my entire team has wiped and lost the other points then get yelled at for sucking.

I’m a truly average player, but seriously. This is frustrating.
