Will they remove QP once they add rankings?
i hope QP will be some kind of score or money to purchase monthly/big tourneys pass.

why though? tourney pass should be based on skill ranking not qp.

“qualifying” points = points to be allowed to do something.. so i guess it could be some kind of entry pass.
but honestly, after ladder there should be no more utility in qp.
Old concept of QP was an entry fee. You needed x amount to play in the tourney for the month.
Qualifier points are fine as long as it is on the a high amount to get into the monthly tournaments. The bar should be high enough to weed out teams that are not dedicated to actually participating and it’s fair to say that there needs to be a line drawn somewhere. However, this doesn’t mean that people should be pressured to grind for days on end hoping to make the cut. The OP has the right idea, but perhaps make it a monthly requirement (similar to how achievements work).
QP is ironic, it favors those who play more than it does those who are the best. (and its the best who should goto tournies).
Also for those new to the game who havnt had months of arming up QP thats a huge disadvantage as well.
STILL. the people who did farm that Qp should be compensated for it somehow.
Presumably QP will be removed or made irrelevant. It’s not competitive-gaming-relevant (sorry I think the term “esport” is silly :P). It doesn’t measure skill, which is the only thing that should matter. (rating)
Activity should be a result of competition and fun. Artificial annoyances designed to prod people into playing more matches than they would otherwise detract from the game.
