Will you release an spvp zealot ammy?

Keen for this on meditation guards, the healing ratio on monk’s focus is half decent. Also maybe something with power ranger might become viable potentially?
really bad engineer

Man, it’s not monks focus that concerns me.. I’ve been working on a symbol build that literally 1v2s some meta builds, and this will be a big buff to it.
Power ranger would be tricky as it still requires condi damage for condi removal, although as a BM it could be very interesting… 0/10/30/0/30?
Quickness rangers are so fun to play with too

I’ve been wondering if it might be necessary to make alterations to the amulet, like having Healing Power being the major stat instead of Power, or replacing one of the stats with Vitality.
But there isn’t really a good way to test if altering Zealot is necessary other than crafting a bunch of gear and going to town in WvW with a bunch of classes/builds.
It will be great for eles, who scale better with healing power than any class, but lack the dps for this meta with other hp amulets
As a meditation healing guardian main myself, I approve of Zealot to enter PvP.
We have healing bunkers that basically heal themselves but not so much the allies.
Healing support are, suffice to say, underrepresented in the game. There exists quite some builds that make newbies like pros because they have too much space for error. While nerfing such builds would surely enrage users of them (hence not feasible a solution), adding Zealot into the game provides hard counters so there is pleasing both sides.

Meditations really don’t benefit from healing power that much. The base heal for meds is already pretty high. The base is 1960, the multiplier is 0.4. So if you have 1000 healing power, its just going to be 2360. However healing power isn’t the main stat of Zealot, so realistically you’ll probably have 500-800 healing power depending on trait lines and rune sets.
Now there are a lot of other guard builds I believe it’ll work wonders for.

i would love this for my Ranger too..
I think people are getting way ahead of themselves with this, even for builds which benefit quite a lot from healing power it’s still too weak a stat to have as your only defence. For meds I’d still rather go either zerker or soldier.
Healing power on a meds build with 0 toughness or vitality from gear is basically going to be as glassy as a zerker but with significantly less damage.

I was referring to node fighter guards, which probably wouldn’t use monks focus anyway.
Plus I wouldn’t call 15% crit damage loss significant on a high sustain/aoe build dude

Actually, 0.4 multiplier on skills like Smite Condition is a lot.
I like it, not totally zerker but like between bunk/burst.
and not as op as toughness/power/precision.
maybe somthing healing major power mid and minor in precision/vitality?
a lil vitality wud help for those else n guards.
be very interested to see if they implement this..

Yeah I think this would be a good addition, and not OP on anything I can think of right off the bat
