i just began and won 2 match in a row.
the first game me a pip and the second nothing, it is intended?

it tells u, i think, after a match why u got a pip or not, what did that tell u?

hmm may be i pressed the unranked button…. but i don’t think.

Your match record will tell you if it was an unranked or ranked match I think.
The release notes stated a win = a pip, and I don’t think it’s affected by personal score.
Also, even if there’s a d/c, I think only the losing team would really be affected pip-wise (no pip loss if d/c is on your team)

Anet asking for information to resolve the issue, and yet you still complain.

sorry, i went to sleep. The match was noticed as unranked. So it is my / our mistake.
People are used to push the unranked button after 1 month. So it may be the case.

Okay so we now have PROOF that the system has at least 1 bug.. So what else do we need to investigate Evan ?

Hopefully when you rise n shine on the 24th (I know its like 1am in USA !) you’ll be able to look into it.

Nope – you’re not crazy.. how about we take screen shots as proof / put the server times in for Evan to investigate.

Just to nitpick: you need at least 4 screenshots for a solid proof. Match history before and after, pips before and scoreboard right before victory to check for potential d/c.
EDIT: wait, you need a 5th, scoreboard after victory to check teams.

The API also does not report that the match ever happened.

Looks like there is a server side issue.

That’s no longer true, seijwa said he clicked on unrank instead of rank. As a matter of fact, it happened to me twice yesterday. So yeah, this only concern stronghold players.

Happened to me as well, twice in 3 games. Right after hitting emerald. Queued for both Stronghold and Conquest but I do believe in both cases we were playing Stronghold when it happened.

How about we post exact details: end-score , screen shot can be taken if possible (hit print screen button – configure it in options ), exact server time end and player names. Also include if it appears in your match history or if anyone DC or swapped toons

So I just won a game solo q in Amber this is third ranked match since start of new season. All of my matches are from today and I did not get a pip and the match is not in my history. Right before the map closed I seen a person on my team say no pip so I messaged them they are saying the same thing no match in history? Has anyone else had this happen?

Just happened to me and a guildie in Conquest

And there was no message in the explanation.

I just just played and won a Conquest match and I did not get a pip for the victory (this was at around 23:30 UK Time). Also, I’m currently in Amber.

After the match was done, I asked around in map chat and it turns out tons of other players were also complaining they hadn’t gotten a pip for winning their matches. There’s also several other threads here on the Forums that indicate that sometimes, for whatever reason, there’s a certain period of time where players do not get pips for winning matches?

Anyhow, this feels like it could be a major bug. Please take a look at it.

I just did a ranked match and did not get a pip either. The match does not even show in “Game history”…

EDIT: Im on EU, Server is SFR, the match was on Kyhlo

I had this happen to me last night. Won a game by a significant number, 500 to 110 and I was 2nd for points on my team. The recap came up at the end and said nothing, no pips. eventually after a minute of me trying to figure out why I didn’t get one, I left the match. I checked my record from the lobby and there was no record for this game until about a half hour later, where it was backfilled and counted as a D/C… but it clearly wasn’t.

The only thing I can think of is that when the score finished and the game ended, I was in a downed state and respawned a couple seconds after end.

Hope this helps to figure out, but I can definitely confirm something similar happenned to me as well so your not alone!

Battle of Khylo 8 minute game, 501-193 my entire team reported no pip gain on a win.

I am saddened by this.

The message log showed nothing.

If it helps, last game we had a deserter so I lost no pip then.

Just happened to me. No pip for a win and now all of us including the enemy team can’t get out of the match. We just keep getting put back into it after it has ended??? Please fix this….

I didnt get a pip from my last match, that match we also had a duo Q pop( two Qs popped at the same time)… and im stuck in the match too

Gaile. I now can’t even get out of the match. It just keeps loading me back in. I tried relogging and now my client is crashing every time. My region is australia and im on yaks bend.

My pips were not showing! I won my next game and it showed my previous wins pips!

It’s a visual bug for me! Disregard sorta…its worrying.

So this just happened to me too.
Won a game, got no pips, no explanation. The match is not in the history.
Match finished at 1:05~ server time. Playing on SFR.

I’ve always had a relatively high ping, but that has never affected the gameplay nor has it caused issues similar to not gaining pips and such. I never had a problem back in Season One, too.

When the match in question ended, there was no text above the pip counter like it was supposed to, either. Super weird stuff. Moreso, the match doesn’t show up in my game history.

I’ve had this too – lost my first game, won the second and no pip (unfortunately I only realised I didn’t get it until after I had left the match so I couldn’t confirm the message and had no more wins to see if it was a one off issue)

But, it may be an issue with general match completion because I had related issues with the new daily achievement and the daily participant achievement from the meta.

I play from Australia, and I played on both NA (Jade Quarry) and EU (Far Shiverpeaks) last night (F2P account on EU) with somewhere from 280 – 350 ping to NA and 400+ for EU.

On EU it took two matches before I completed the new daily (happened after first game on NA) and I had to play 4 matches before the daily participant achievement from the meta was completed (first tier in EU).

On the flip side I got the necromancer daily win achievement with my win – so it wasn’t the case of no achievements being resolved by the end condition of the game.

This just happened to us. A noob on our team quit out of GW2 as the match start was counting down, because he did not want Stronghold (he obviously does not know how to untick it…). We went on to win the game, but got no pip.

Did not get a pip for winning a game as well. There was no “pip breakdown” at the end of the match. The pvp panel does not even show that i have won that match. There was a dc on the enemy team from the start. I am on EU – Aurora Glade.

So this just happened to me as well. Other team got disconnect from start.
Least one other person on team say that they didn’t get pip from win, so probably goes for everyone on team. Match do not show on game history at all.

Video makes it clear there is a hiccup somewhere. I have personally won a pip for winning a 4v5 so I guess it isn’t consistent. Bump for justice
