Man, I was trying out Hammer/longbow warrior the other day. I had played like 5 tournaments and I killed this bad S/D thief. And then I /shrugged. You should have seen this guy rage. He got sooooo mad…like, he will get banned for verbal abuse. Lol

I have gotten this as well. I was told when you play the most OP class, its no wonder you do well.

It was hotjoin. I literally just tagged everything with aoe’s and raked in the glory.

The insults themselves weren’t bad, but I once dueled another elementalist a bunch, and after every fight he’d start calling me names, win or lose. I don’t think I’ve ever been called trash, kitten, noob, etc. so many times in such a short period. May wonder why I kept going, but the fights were good, and I can put up with a bit of teenage angst to get some good competition.

Should rename the thread to ‘You just wasted 1 min of your life’.

i was playing tpvp with my guild mate and this SOAC guardian started trashtalking my guild mate and he had a pompom girl and called us no names. And where is SOAC now in GW2? Nada. At least we’re in MATH doing IWAY in Guild Wars 1 since ’05.

The day before yesterday i saw a “you [censored] [censored] with your [censored] build”, the guy was some 50+ playing condi bunker engi and i was 30/10/0/0/30 zerk rifle warrior, he prolly didn’t enjoy my 10k dmg snipe at some point and made it personnal for like 1h untill i leave the pvp room calling me each time i was killing him.

Way back i must have done something to kitten off this random crazy chick, who’s rage and rifle were always pointed at me wherever i went. Naturally this became a fight in whispers where she called me a ‘fat virgin white male gamer nerd’.
I replied by saying i have a girlfriend so then she called all gamer chicks fat and ugly, insulting herself along with it.
At this point i actually got annoyed obviously asked if she was on her period, which as expected blew her up, cause she immediatly and hypocritically pulled the gender card at the first oppurtinity and went ‘lol u lost also ignored i got last word’.

If you’re reading this, i so won that.

I started PvP’ign with my GS Guardian, and trying to melee down ranged players would so kitten me off lol, so I raged so hard at them, then I roll’d thief, rifle warrior and actually have fun while PvP’ing

I was quite surprised being called “best mental eu” when playing mesmer during the beta weekend. That’s a reference from another game and it basically means “you think so good of yourself but you suck at whatever it is you think you are good at”.
Made me lol because i played that other game just before i started playing gw2

Player A charges a point occupied by X Opposing Player.

Player A proceeds to single out one other player and engages them.

Player A is crushed by all Opposing Players.

Player A calls out the single player he was going after, throwing out such insults as, “You suck, can’t even 1v1 me you gotta get your friends to help LOLOLOL.” or “LOLOL it took all X of you to kill me.”

If you want to 1v1 folks, don’t charge 1 person standing in a crowd and expect him to know your intentions, you look like a donkus.

I’m constantly offended. My current favourites are:

Rage filled broken english whispers from BooN engy were one of the best. And ofc everything from “evade noob”, “stun noob”, “spam noob” etc etc. Most recent is random “f’ck you” whisper from a teammate. I was really confused by that.

Oh, I got so many.

I had a thief name drop how he played with another thief who was ranked. Called me no name, insulted me (after winning, which is new, I usually get insulted by those who lose), insulted me because we both were on the point and a guardian joined and us two killed that thief. As if it was within my control to make that guardian not join us.

What got me the most was how much he bragged about sPvPing but how heated up he got from a random hotjoin.

I got called a cheater from a French guardian who was rank 9. He couldn’t understand how his 12k (his words) melted from my Rifle/SD burst. He calmed down once I spoke with him and told him about burst and how playing a glass guardian was not smart.

But mostly I get the very strange and internet based role reversal. We might expect the WINNER to brag and trash talk about how good he is. But over the internet it is the loser who trash talks and does the ‘no skill’ card.

Which begs the question on how a no skill wins over an obvious pro and who is more no skilled of the two.

Got some nice hits on a d/d thief that was really predictable in a duel server. beat him this way downing him in stealth at least 3 times because he does the same thing everytime. Spams me after match and accuses me of “Radar hacking”.

Some engineer with female char and char name called me hacker when I also played engineer and perma knocked her down or launched her cause I like to use a build that uses all of these possible skills(and we have a lot).

Was fun. But I’d also consider it the worst thing said cause that player should have known about the skills an engineer has and that this was well possible without hacking.

I lol’d.
