For this achievement you have to cross 4 league thresholds to complete it. So correct me if i’m wrong, but by playing from amber to diamond you should have this achievement complete right? I was diamond last season and i have 3/4 completed in this achievement.

It only starts counting once you’ve completed Year of ascension part 3. Hope this explains.

Not really since I’m currently in part 2 :P I just went all the way in a few days to get it out of the way so i could play casually this season. In either case it can obviously be completed without having part 4 unlocked, but is that something new perhaps?

That’s not true, the division threshold achievement will advance into subsequent years and start counting immediately, even before the previous overall metas are finished. It’s like League Participator in that regard.

This is wrong.

This achievement, the Daily Games Played achievement, the Wings line and the Essence Collector line will all ignore your meta progress. You can complete them at any point in time. If you theoretically pushed 10 divisions on your very first day in ranked pvp you would have League Elite completed, regardless of your progression elsewhere.
