I have 5 victories on Mesmer, Guardian, Necromancer, and Engineer. I have completed: League recruit
league slayer
League professional
league deliminator
essence collector
mystic essence collector
league conqueror
league rank earner
wings of glory
league top stats

So, by my math that is 13. But I am only showing 10/11.

Any guesses?

The profession achievements don’t count towards the meta beyond the first 2 (or 3 for the part 2/3/4 sections). Unfortunately, this means you have to complete the 15 day timegated one to finish the meta (and open up some of the part 2 achievements).

Click on the meta achievement, it will list all the requirements.

Whoa whoa whoa… where the F does it say that? Oh Good God, just clicked to “open” the Path of the Ascension. I despise that they buried this info. The tool tip say’s “complete all 11 Path of Ascension 1 achievements.” So like it’s always been in game, I looked at and counted the achievements in the panel I’d like to do to get 11 done.

Dev’s you need to be WAY more specific and upfront with info. Also, is it me or is there absolutely no way to get part IV since the season is a few days short of the 60 day requirement?

Yes, I see that now and fuming at the ridiculous time gating. Look at all the games we have to play that count toward nothing but the daily. You screen cap is the perfect example of it.

Of all the complaints on the League, this has to be the worst design flub to me.

The time gating is pointless, should be a certain number of matches played in total…. Not 3 each day. Some days you may play more than 3 and some less, so it should just be something like “play 45 ranked matches” instead of 3 a day for 15 days. I want to be able to progress through them at my pace.

That time gate is a huge disservice for players who have a job and can’t play during the weekdays. They basically has to wait 7 weeks just to advance the first one.

it’s a cheap way to get people to login daily

I believe you will be able to progress these achievements during the next leagues. (not entirely sure on this one, i think i read it somewhere on the forum)

It says something about the state of the game that Anet are wedded to this sort of gating with so much of what they design.

Here’s even more of a problem I ended up figuring out

The final meta achievement to get the last gift requires crossing 4 divisions in a single season. It was said on Dulfy that even if you weren’t the most skilled you could get the legendary. In order to get the legendary at the end of a single season you have to hit Diamond, something that most of Soloq seems impossible because there’s difficulty of even getting to Sapphire
