Yet another MMR complaint
That’s what’s odd. I thought anet had some part of their system that took into account the match ups and gave you better gains for matches where you are the underdog

My guess is those top 1% players also get grouped up with bronze/silver and their average MMR is the same. The top player destroys my teams bronze/silver players and then I end up losing a ton of rating because I don’t have any top tier players on my team to compensate.
If your rating is much lower than that of your opponents, you shouldn’t lose a lot for a loss.
However, ANet has never specified how they handle rating adjustments, but it’s presumably your rating vs. average rating of enemy team. Since the average enemy team rating is much closer to yours (probably 3-4 low plat / high gold), that’s why you’re still losing quite a bit.
There’s not much ANet can do. The population is just too small.
Were you by chance a thief called Fuube or something?
What is the difference between a 1800+ andGold Tier 3 players , or Silver ?
When most ppl aim to play as little as posible , so they can have a higher chance to get in a better spots , its not the system faults …but because of the mentality :
‘’too many are striving for the title , while waiting others follish ppl to get worse results and tank their MMR’’

It’s not the case.
Team are made, then match versus other.
Mostly in the same team, you got the same “division” players. Then they pit that versus another team.
It’s why top player got win ratio of 60%+. The system can’t find team for them to lose.
If not enough top play, the teams should be made with 10 then split up accordly and this should be dynamic because when many play… it’s better the other way.

No, what I am seeing is players in 1400 rating are matching up against players with 1800+ rating.
If the system allows gaps of 400 rating, what stops it from putting silver or bronze people on your team? As far as I know it only does average MMR, I don’t think it cares if the people are in the same division or not.
Those 1800+ players are good at the game, but because they are facing against players in 1400 range of course they are going to win a lot.
