Well just what the tittle says, I just discover that you can’t attuned this rings, the mystic forge don’t recognize then like a crafting material for the forge. Is a glitch? or is just a normal behaviur for this rings?

Note: I created this topic in the pvp subforum because I am talking about a pvp reward, I will understand if any moderator want move it.

This is known by the community but has not been addressed by ANET. It may be intended due to the ease of acquisition of these ascended items.

Looks like the PvP ascended gear items haven’t been added yet to the mystic forge recipes.

They may be ‘easy’ to get, but the ascended shards are extremely limited as there’s a very fixed amount per season. So that can’t be the reason.

I just took a look after recently getting a Mist Band from PvP for my Magi Druid. When purchasing it, it already comes with both infusion slots that you’d get when infusing and attuning it. It just doesn’t have the ‘Attuned’ namesake.

Great news! I also see it isn’t unique, nice. Haven’t check it thoroughly earlier, but thought you can equip only 1.

Ascended rings always have 1 slot.
infusing adds 1 slot, attuning adds 1 slot. Total: 3 slots.

I stand corrected! Just got back from work and wasn’t thinking straight apparently

Last patch went by and this didn’t get fixed. Anet please your attention to this matter, right now purchasing ascended rings from PvP is a waste of resources and time.

I’m bumping this because reasons. Fix it please.

I wonder why they have avoided speaking about ascended rewards in pvp so much. That usually means they haven’t decided on a official position yet and are discussing it internally.

How come this is still not fixed?

They seem to be falling behind in everything.

I was gonna come back and play the new LS last night night and my Guild Mates in Discord told me not too since its so buggy.

That with the PvP titles and just staleness the game is in right now, i dont know but maybe that are on vacation?

I have a fix for these rings and for Mystic Forging the armor submitted. I can’t say when it will make its way to live, but the fix is on the way.

We also should have the League title situation resolved by the end of the week.

In the patch notes today: “Ascended PvP rings can now be attuned.”

…and yes you can select them in the mystic forge…

but no attuning with agonized essence a +1 agony infusion and a philosophers stone… the recipe does not work… any clues?
