Was your class pushed into a 1 role corner and literally any other role will get you killed? Was the 1 corner your class forced into then nerfed? Do you feel that everyone disagrees with you that your class sucks but they don’t play it themselves? Welcome. You know how ele feels now.

i have to disagree, eles still have a really good spot on teams and obviously no real for more then 1 but rev isnt really only good with the elite players of the game.

You are seeing revs at low-average-good levels of play simply lose out to other classes.

Ele still is the Apex on heal botting. So i understand what you are saying but Anet shouldnt come out with these classes killing stuff.

I mean S1 was so horrible and S1/2 warrior was the worst, Anet really needs to quit creating these dont ever play this class this season issues.

Excuse me how do you define carry as ele ?

I know few instances where in theory ele should carry (plz mind that I am not speaking about proESL but ranked):

1. ele keeps necro/rev alive:
-necro because he doesn’t have sustain
-rev because he doesn’t have condi cleanse

2. Supports another class that can sustain well 1v2 to create 2v3 situations on one node – theory speaks that if this goes well ele’s team should be always be able to outnumber other nodes.

This is all theory – in reality if necro/rev are bad (by bad I mean they don’t know how to kill people) no matter if ele is good or bad he supports player that doesn’t do anything. So…yea even if ele is good…he’s still useless and we got 3v5 match.

Same thing with number 2: If let’s say eng is bad and has problem with staying alive against thief in 1v1 what can do good ele? Every heal has cooldown…thief’s dps/cc doesn’t.

But we are speaking about ele’s in high tier so how we know that ele is good? When he rotates in places where he should be. When he press ,,heal" buttons. That’s all. Ele basically can’t do nothing besides pressing heal buttons and rotating. He can’t do nothing on his own. He can’t kill people in 1v1, he can’t bunker, he can’t contest node in 1v2…he can’t do nothing to influence match besides keeping good players alive and that’s all…come on…sorry but 1000x more important for team is what Mesmer or Thief do then healbot.

There is a reason that nobody important streams ele healbot in pvp. There is reason that in EU RANKED TOP 3 is Thief, Mesmer and Engi.

On the side note: rev was and still is one of most top classes right now. Of course skill floor is high so don’t expect something incredible from rev in let’s say sliver.

ele is terrible in the current duo q system because it cant carry at all. In order to carry as support it would need to survive 1v2 forever when palyed well because other classes can just kill very effiently and you had to make up for this .

ele is just as good as the people you support, if your team is losing both sides you have no influence on that, or if your team fails to focus a target.

means you will end up on the average rating you get matched with kinda as you have too little impact

Ele is still necessary in every team comp. Sure u cant carry alone but u can carry with a DPS player duo. Ele+ rev, war, necro or even thief

problem is that some classes, especially those that control the rotations have higher potential to carry. If you play the team oriented card, then let me choose my team and stop duo q system.

More in English plz and thief would do better job by ,, keeping everyone alive" – he can go everywhere he wants and end every fight (almost) with +1 thing…you know bad players are alive because attacker is already dead. I wonder how thiefs do this stuff without ,,heal buttons".

What is with this kittening bullkitten: Now you know how it feels. What kind of reasoning is this? U don’t justify nerfs out of kittening spite. Heck I play ele as well. Yes even i get kittening kittened of when I fight a mace bow warrior on fresh air tempest or some dps tempest. And almost kittening die when i get hit once or twice by a condi burst. If not waste all my kittening cooldowns on cleansing conditions, sacrifice sustain against power damage by running ether renewal Or either run water traitline and swap harmonois conduit for invorgating torrents which makes it super hard to pull of an overload. And then have practically no defences against the current incarnation of power warrior, even nerfed herald or thief. Because u cannot have a fresh air tempest/dps tempest with the sustain against both powerr damage and condi damage like most current power builds. Because thier armour is kittenedly low and thier hp is also kittenedly low.

We don’t have that privelege. But this is not the way to go.
