Hey guys, in your opinion what is going to be nerfed / buffed tomorrow?
These are my thoughts based on the classes I play regularly:

Ranger
Ancient Seeds: Increased cooldown of this trait from 10 sec to 15 sec.
Signet of the Wild: Fixed a bug that grants unblockable hits for the duration of the active effect of the skill. Now this skill breaks stun when activated.
Signet of the Hunt: Changed the active effect of this skill. Now this skill grants unblockable attacks for 5 seconds to you and your pet.
Search and Rescue: Increased the radius of this skill from 600 to 900. (now it’s useless.)

Warrior
Defy Pain: Increased cooldown of this trait from 60 sec to 75 sec.
Arc Divider: Reduced the range of this skill from 450 to 250.
Skull Grinder: Reduce the range of this skill from 300 to 130. This skill no longer cause blind.
Adrenal health: The base healing power for this trait has been reduced by 15%. Healing-power contribution has been increased by 25%.
Vigorous Shouts: _Shout base healing increased from 1000 hp to 1300 hp. Every shout grants 5 seconds of regeneration.

Necromancer
Now Regeneration heals you while in death shroud.
Death Spiral (gs #3): Now this skill block attacks for 2 seconds while striking.
Nightfall (gs #4): _Now the column of shadows grows on your feet and follows you for his entire duration. Gain life force (2%) every time a pulse strike an enemy.

Grasping Darkness (gs #5): This skill now is ground targeted (like ranger axe offhand #4). Range increased from 600 to 800.
Epidemic: Now this skill can’t be used on WvW sieges.
Spectral Walk: Reduced the recharge of this skill from 50 to 35 sec. This skill now grants 6 seconds of superspeed and 15 seconds of swiftness. Life force gained and Spectral effect remains the same.
Soul Eater: Now this trait pulse Stability (1 stack for 4 seconds every 4 seconds) while wielding a greatsword. Lifesteal from this trait has been removed.
Transfusion: Now this skill heals you aswell.

Engineer
Self Regulating Defenses: The cooldown of this trait has been increased from 75 sec to 90 sec.

I don’t like passive traits so nerf them all :p
Anyway these are some changes that I thought. What do you think about these and other classes? What are we going to see?

I am totally ok with your Ranger/War/Ingi proposed changes. Maybe you can cut the resistance or the condi removal (ire purification build is insane -3 condi dispelled each 4 sec). Also cut the dh traps (not normal that an utilitary has so much impact on the game).

For the necro, i have to say NO. Actually reaper has a really high cleave dps, maybe less mobility. But if you give to a classe, unblokable skills, boons corrupt, ton of condi, best dps, and now a lot of survavility so you create a monster. Reaper is fine, even more if war/dh will be down (a lot of defense/heals in zerk builds).

Just see the tempest/reaper combo. One heal the other destroy all the oponents.

Seriously, they don’t have much time more.
Balance the game and introduce new expansion pack to save this game. That’s all they can do now….

I think the balance changes will be tiny with very little change in the meta or build diversity in general. I do think the rumors about having certain gotta-have-it raid class/abilities extend to 10 ppl instead of 5 may be true to allow a more diverse raid composition. I wish they would be a bit more bold in buffing the skills that no one plays. Shaving 5 sec off the CD of a useless skill doesn’t suddenly make it desirable.
BTW, your suggestion to reduce the range of Skull Grinder is way too harsh. If needed, take away a condi or increase the CD, but don’t nerf the range like that. There’s a reason no one played mace MH in WvW/PvP pre-HOT – and the 130 range of the F1 skill was a big part of it.

Quite possible when it comes to Anet, even though I don’t see any reason for it.

Balance is almost to 100% based on pvp – anyone thinks this one is OP in pvp?

I wish they would do more mechanical changes to skills instead of just changing damage numbers and healing power scaling. Look at some of the lesser used weapons for example. They are not necessary bad dps weapons, but have zero utility, synergy or have a hard time actually hitting your enemy.

Also traps should reveal while doing condition damage. Not that permastealth thief in WvW is really dangerous, but it’s getting out of hand lately. WvW balance is a joke anyways.

They should replace horrible skills with new ones if they cant balance them. Look at phys utility skills for warrior as example.. Its obvious they will never be good anyway so why keep em ingame? Delete them and replace with new shiny stuff.

Sure you dont want to add being able to use skills in ds/rs too?

Because we dont have enough necro death trains in WvW, they need to be brought into the meta!

Also people still think shock shield does too much damage. Having a higher damage, longer range version on a possible 10 sec cooldown instead of 20 might or might not be a popular idea.

I have no predictions but I really hope for ArenaNet that they understand that they have to buff underused abilites and traits (in all game modes). Those abilities don’t need to become super meta or anything but people want OPTIONS.

- Player 1 wants to play a dps axe/axe warrior in raids but he can’t because he doesn’t provide might and the dps is bad.
- Player 2 wants to play a core power necromancer in ranked pvp but he can’t because death shroud sucks and is outdated.
- Player 3 wants to play a spirit ranger in open world and pvp but he can’t because they don’t kittening move anymore.

I could go on with examples but there’s so much useless stuff in the game that needs to be reworked and buffed.

They won’t. They will simply make 4/5 minor changes to each class. Probably generally changing the cooldown and numbers on a bunch of underused skills and nerfing a couple of clearly OP things across the whole game.

Basically it will be changes that could have been done in about 2 weeks but instead took them 4 months.

The change to signet of the hunt would make it totally useless in PvE.

Just change signet of the hunt work like the thief signet which buffs the next 5 attacks for you and pet.
