So Plat players… How many points you getting per win and loss?
Plat tier 1: +7 per win, -12 per loss… got a -18 last couple games because matchmaking is ridiculous.

Currently still 57% win rate. I’m curious if anyone else have a similiar win rate and same rating gain… had the same think happen to me in Gold until I stopped during the holidays and picked it back up to reach Plat

Going to be inactive for a week to reset my rating volatility.

Plat2/3 getting +12-15 for wins (against toker/kat) and equal rating loss for losses, if I lose to people other than top 10 I get -15-20 or more. This is solo, I have found that it’s harder for me to win with a duo (I’m not quite skilled enough yet to carry gold/silver players against top 25 players), as well as queuing primarily during prime time, the volatility of off hours is a double edged sword; I’ve decided that should I queue off peak and get 2-3 wins (at +8-11) then it’s best to stop, as the matches will become exponentially harder the higher I go on the leaderboard and it is just not worth the risk.

I used to get around +/-14 rating in plat2 (eu)
But stopped playing for a while and got -800 decay which apparently severely increase your volatility, so i got +/- 30 rating for a few games and now i’m getting +/- 20-ish. I’m guessing it will continue to lower until i get +/- 14 again.

+11-15 for a win, same for a loss.

Always +/- 12-15

Platinum 3 +8-12
-9-15
I did however get -18 for beating sind + helseth duo.

Currently at 1810 rating w/ about 60% winrate:
Lose 15 per loss, gain 8-11 for wins.

t2 plat here i gain/lose 11-15 rating. my biggest rating gain was +20 against 2 duo of esl players. biggest lose was -17

The amount your rating changes is related as much to you confident the MMR system is of your ranking, as to what tier you are in. A player way up at the top of the ladder with a low “confidence” score will have big win/loss changes, and a player down in bronze who belongs there (hi!) with high confidence will only see small movements.

The reason higher players tend to see smaller movements is, in large part, because you have to be pretty good to stay up there, and that in turn means you win or lose as expected more often. That makes MMR confident you are placed right, so the changes are smaller…

Plat T2 almost T3, lose 40-60 rating, gain 10-20, pretty fair system, especially when the team I beat has players at 1900+ on it.
