now that pvp loot is scaling with our pve level it isn’t very clever to open any chests you earn while you’re playing on low level alts, so its best to ignore the chests until you log to your 80 but the problem here is the chest icon will never stop twitching and flashing like it suffers from ADHD.

could we get a way to make it settle, or even hide it completely?
its such a distraction with its constant twitching and flashing
“hey! look at me! look at me! here! look! LOOK! LOOK!”

So…you’re proposing a redesign of a feature to accommodate your efforts to bypass getting the original loot assigned to you?

Sounds like they should fix the loot so that ignoring the chests wasn’t encouraged or beneficial.

P.s. It’s not cool to use medical diagnosis for stereotyping annoying characteristics and even if it was, I don’t think you really know what ADHD is.

Uh, you can bank the chests and then open them on a level 80 character and they will reward level 80 loot. There is no effort to ‘bypass’ anything, the chests were designed so that new players couldn’t receive level 80 loot, but players with level 80 characters could pvp on any character they want and still get level 80 loot.

Well, seems like there’s absolutely no reason to back up the OP’s desire then. =P
