we got lucky 2 of the other team are basicly newbies and we won.

Yeah, warrior seems incredibely popular atm. It has always been popular, but I’m pretty sure it’s the most common class in Soloq now.

Funny thing about it tho is that I still think Warrior is pretty useless in tpvp. It’s my main class, but if I really want to feel useful for my team, a Warrior doesn’t even come close to what an Engi can do for his team. So I keep rolling engi… If I care about winning.

Warrior doesn’t bring much to the table for his team imo. At least not in SoloQ. That may not be the case for some pre-made teams that know exactly why they are bringing Warrior… But then again Team Blacklisted might still be the only strong team running one…

warrior i there with necro and spirit rangers as the most common class in solo que, at least you will see different kinds of warrior, bunker, 2 sword pressure warrior and hammer CC warrior. cant say bout the necro and ranger they all run same build atm.

Clue: Warriors are only gaining popularity in soloQ because they are good against the most popular classes in soloQ. Nerf the most popular soloQ classes and warrior is all the sudden not that popular.

Warrior will still drop like a rock to condition spam, but is decent 1v1 vs those classes. Since there isn’t much team coordination in soloQ, especially at lower ranks, there are more opportunities for a warrior to shine vs necros and rangers.

Also, I have never seen a five warrior game, and I myself am a warrior. I am going to run some soloQ tonight just to see how much of an exaggeration this is, since I haven’t paid attention to it in a week or so. The most I ever saw in a soloQ game was three warriors on the team against us (and only every seen that many once), and they lost horribly.

They don’t have competetive builds other than condi/bunker.

I will post there, whenever I get around to playing some games. Sadly, GW2 is getting more and more boring these days and I didn’t bother logging in last night or today.

War works in tpvp as well as he does in solo q. The difference is you have to switch your tactic basicly. I think the most viable build is the cc monster. This build is not as good as a engi in teamfights for example but its insane in small fights. 1v1 or 2v2u have a huge advantage by running the war instead of the engi.

True lol. In fact, I find these spvp forums to be almost more entertraining than spvp itself..
