at the moment, we have:

Armored Attack
“Gain power based on your toughness.”
Gain Power Based on a Percentage of Toughness: 10%

at best, in sPvP, we can only get 1000 or 1560 or 1900 or 2200 toughness, which translate into extra 100 or 156 or 190 or 220 power.

therefore, armored attack should be based on the armor value instead, which is a combination of both toughness and defense. and the extra toughness from dolyak signet should be counted for as well!

i propose:

Armored Attack
“Gain power based on your armor.”
Gain Power Based on a Percentage of Armor: 10%

…Every trait like this is based off of acquired stats, not base stats. Changing only one would be weird.

no. because this trait is called “Armored Attack” and not “Toughness Attack” so it should use armor and not toughness.

The name is irrelevant to balance, this is purely a buff and it doesn’t make sense for a single one of these traits to be more powerful than the others.

It’s supposed to be so tank classes don’t lose their power. I’m sorry but basing it off of armor is a bad idea. You would create situations where you would have high tank AND very high power. Right now, full berserk in PvP is 2312 for power. Running Knights and this trait you get 2132. So in total, you lose 180 power and 60% crit damage but you gain 1200 toughness. I would say that the trade off is appropriate.
