that’s what we have currently.
but getting might is not really defense, but offense. what if we changed shield master to be more active based sustain for warrior?

proposal 1: gain health when you block an attack.
Shield Master

“Reflect missiles whenever you are blocking. Gain health when you block an attack. Shield skills recharge faster.”
Healing: 100 + (0.1 Healing Power)

proposal 2: shield recharge further reduced when you block an attack.

Still not even close to Shield Revenant has.
I would pick proposal 1 and also suggest Protecton and Regeneration added to Warrior Shield skills.

I’ve rather thought something like picking your proposal 1, AND, e.g.:

*Shield Stance now grants regeneration to Warrior and Allies.
*Shield Bash now grants protection to Warrior and Allies.

…Rev shield probably still would be better ;(

hmmm but the defense line is mostly about personal defense for the warrior.
tactics line is more group support.

that’s why i cannot understand why they put “power synergy” as a tactics grandmaster trait!

Those boons aren’t supposed to be trait based, just update to abilities, since new Shield skills (Herald/Revenant) outclass Warrior Shield completly.

Warrior is fine.
Stop power creep and nerf other classes instead.

The only crime, turrets committed, is being good against the celestial meta.
The mob has spoken and the turrets shall be burnt at the stake.

Warrior is already arguably forced into using a shield; in the current meta. All your proposed changes would do is solidify that.

Warrior damage is OK; but warriors have a hard time sticking to targets. This is due to any number of skills that every other profession has used to counter melee attacks.

Warrior sustain is not ok. If a warrior specs for full sustain, they have less sustain than every other bunker spec and deal no damage.

Thats the problem with warriors.

My proposed changes would be change thick skin into diamond skin. And maybe that would be enough to make warriors viable.
