can I check my mmr?
So far the only way is to complain about being matched with only noob teammates, and have Justin O’Dell reply to your thread and tell you whether you belong there or not.

Ok, so here it goes:
Justin,
all my teammates in every game I play suck hard. Can you pls check my MMR?
is there a way to know you tier?
I know anet has a secret stash of mmr stored some where
I just want to know where I stand compared to the top players
leaderboard is still a work in progressam I below average? average? a maybe even slightly above average?
how do I check?
The problem with MMR in this game is if you soloque, you can only carry bad teammates so far. Thus resulting in losses that are completely out of your hands meaning that you can’t escape your low MMR hell… Really quite frustrating.
LOL
I love justin
i totally thought about that but didn’t want to abuse it hahaha
it still doesn’t tell me where I am, assuming I place with players similar to my level…are they high end or suck as much as I do
Edit:
hahahaha, u guys are great XD

all my teammates are complete and total noobs and i am better than them on like 20 different levels. i have such mad skillz that i have killed ostrich egggz and acandis in a 2v2 (today) and i could repeat that any time of any day. my mmr has to be sky high. its too bad i cant inflate my ego more by pasting a screenshot of my sky high mmr all over these forums.
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions
I played 30 minutes ago vs ESL-Winners with a full solo-group so my MMR is the best, cuz Anet thinks i can carry them all alone ^^
cheers =D
I don’t know, my MMR must fluctuate a lot since I get horrible horrible teams for a few matches and then suddenly out of nowhere a decent or even good team.

That’s basically my greatest fear.
There are a ton of people with godly MMR apparently we can carry 3 or 4 pugs , against premades .
^ this.

How would you know what your MMR is though? That’s the point nobody knows. I would imagine that if they made MMR available almost all of the top MMR players would be people that grouped at least half the time.
Play in a tournament with some friends and see how you fare. That’s the best way to see how ‘good’ you (and your friends) are. Only then will you get in real 1v1s against good players and team fights against good teams.
I used to run the Academy Gaming tournaments for GW2.

You mean MMR heaven, where you get fast matches against opponents you can wreck over and over, right?
You don’t have to win every single game for your MMR to increase; kitten win percentage is more that sufficient to climb the ranks. Exceptional players will see 60%+ win percentages while queuing solo until they find their level.
Every game is not winnable, and everyone takes losses that are out of their control. It really genuinely doesn’t matter.

This poor uberkingkong did that, and know the entire forum knows he’s never gonna beat the Abjured (you can sleep in peace) because of his average MMR. OP, be careful what you wish for!

He said he was probably between a bit under average to a bit over average. In tournament he’ll just get wrecked, what will he learn about his level? By the way, how good are the guys in these tournaments? Do casuals stand a chance, providing they are rank 80 and on TS?
