can we get rid of the pvp prof. dailies?
I don’t mind first-timers on my team in unranked. Ideally, they could work that out in practice or hotjoin, but those game modes aren’t very useful for learning a profession or build, unfortunately.
That said, I think the profession dailies are a problem. It’s making matchmaking even more difficult than it should be with all the profession duplicates. And to me, there’s a big difference between “I want to learn to play mesmer!” and “I need to win a match with this profession I don’t like or play, for the daily!”
I just ignore the profession specific ones on days where classes I play aren’t an option. But for the people who genuinely hate PvE or WvW, that’s not much of a solution. :c
Change the daily to Daily [insert class here] Killer rather than Player. That way you still have a daily that people have to go out of their way to get, but doesn’t incur the issue of people walking into ranked arenas on a class they don’t play.

It’d be better if players could just be encouraged to farm their profession dailies in Hotjoin. (I honestly don’t understand why they don’t. It’s WAY easier to get wins in Hotjoin thanks to Autobalance.)
I get them in hotjoin, , its literally a 5min effort there.
Making it a “profession killer” would be even worse because there might not be anyone of that class in the game, or there might be 1 person who would then get mobbed while the point of the game gets ignored.
I have multiple classes i enjoy playing in spvp, if 1 or 2 of them would be the daily kill, then id just be like “well, time to play another char for the day”
The prof. dailies are really incompatible with their stacking algorithm. It can possibly work well when loads of players are using the daily professions to get their rewards, it needs a serious rework and no tweaking the stacking algorithm won’t help, the problem isn’t there.
What if everyone got different classes for their dailies? I mean I can’t imagine it would be hard to randomly generate two classes on each account. There would be a lot less chances of class stacking I think if they did this.
