I tried the search but didn’t work for me, so what’s the point of different chest rarities, do you get better stuff from gold ones? Cause it sure doesn’t feel like it. Also the chance would have to be more than 5x bigger to justify the price difference between gold and copper and well, sure doesn’t feel so.

Well from what I can tell each tier of gear, ie rabbit is 1-10, deer is 11-20, has either two or three different sets of armour for each armour type. So if you get the cheap chest then you will only get the common armour, but with the expensive chest you can get the more rare armour.

hmm yeah but if you salvage the cheap stuff you can get slivers and crystals and craft the better one.

I tend to agree, the chests are a joke IMO. And I think you are better off buying the copper chests and salvaging them.
