i crashed to desktop yesterday, about 20 times. thats no exageration, about 20 times, almost e v e r y s i n g l e match.

google wiki: Crash to Desktop is a fairly new hack which made its appearance during September 2011, the same time Lifetaker returned. It is one of the fairly self-explanatory hacks as it does what it says: crashes other users to their desktop. This hack can be extremely annoying and users will become frustrated when this hack is used against them.

thats true, it is very annoying. hackers are silly cowards, but this is such a kittenhack, its really disgusting. its also noticeable in the com, capskiddies who think youd do it too if you knew how to, and its all about “winning”.

What is more likely?
That there is an hacker in almost every single match that uses this method or that the problem is on your side?

A google search suggests that there is nothing like that for gw2.

next day i didnt have it once. its like hitting the windows button, but without the start menue showing up. i am unable to trigger it like that. it happens only in pvp. only at certain moments. its a hack. and its so common that others must have experienced it aswell.

and just because we are not allowed to name or link certain websites here, doesnt mean their stuff doesnt exist.

u must be really good in pvp that they have to hack u so that they can win LOL

it often happened right at the start of a 1vs1, as soon as we got in combat range. or when im about to assist someone, so its not because they particularly respect me, its because they “wanna win”.

i doubt they can even distinguish between people, and even if they do, they dont care how good people are. the game itself doesnt interest them, its irrelevant what happens or whos in it, as long as they “win”.

So does the game client actually crash (close) or are you getting switched to your desktop with the game minimized. I ask because this has happened to me a few times were the game gets minimized, the timing always seems suspicious….
