because as a regular pvp player you shouldn’t have to. helping others should be voluntarily. how are you going to help them anyway? tell me.
btt: the easiest solution would be locking ranked behind some kind of requirement. i dunno 200 unranked games won or so.

Because that is what hotjoin and unranked matches are for? There are zero circumstances where a ranked match should result in players with 100 AP in your party.

In the up side of down, yesterday when experimenting with builds, my first game with a strange build I ended up in a 4v5 from the start. We actually won the match 4v5 and it felt great.

matchmaking is broken but tell me, which part of the game isn’t?

what does this have to do with my flame?

Even if these acc were ALTs (they was 100% not, cuz they had no clue what they was doing)… the matchmaking cant know this.
So in the eyes of matchmaking these acc are new players.

So lets say iam an epic bad player and my MMR is super bad. But even then there should be no case, that they get matched with me.

The relevance is that less qualified players allowed for a more fair game. :P

If anything, your case only shows how bad MM can be, putting together 5 players who were so bad, that they lost in a 5v4.

I’m saying great semi-jokingly, but it was a nice break from being totally screwed by 4v5. Strangely enough every 4v5 always seems to end up on my team. Had several yesterday (or the day before?) and not one was the enemy.

Unfortunately, it is still bad. ANET made a lot of mistakes with the new methodology, but one was taking rank into account in any way. I bet most people have more than 1 account at this point and so it messes everything up.

I am interested if Justin made any changes over the last few days, as I had my worst matchmaking ever last night.

Ppl double capping home, dying to svanir, and rangers…so many rangers.

FYI no ranger hate, I am a ranger. I just don’t want 2 more on my team.
