why sPvP dun have it?

balance issues, they say?

i mean, how hard is it to make prefixes behave like sigils / runes that can be easily slapped onto any weapon / armor / trinkets.

what kind of balance issues would there be?

Limiting the builds makes it less work to balance (which they are still struggling with). If they allow for more customization it would make for better PvP with more diverse builds, but if they can’t dedicate sufficient resources to make frequent, targeted and meaningful balance patches, then it would make the situation worse, and not better. Since they aren’t dedicating sufficient resources to balance the few viable builds out there now I don’t see how putting more on their plate will help.

but i mean, what could go wrong with more precise stats tweaks?
