is there any way to lower them without decreasing overall quality of the game?

It is more than just annoying on a high level pvp when particle effects shut a melee down for seconds so you lose range to a target and lose the whole fight / game.

Standardize particle effects in SPvP.

Done and done.

It’s really annoying, you should be able to just pick a basic animation, if that. I mean the actual explosion is fairly useless as if it’s already landed, the visual clue it then provides is minimal.

Also, particle effects are so lopsided and screen cluttering. Any pro player is going to use jungle wurm finisher because it has the most screen clutter.

get pushed into portal on skyhammer on top of bombs, enjoy awkward camera and cluster kitten on screen

Engi grenades destroy my fps in spvp. Oddly enough they don’t destroy my fps in wvw. They’re the only thing in the game that destroys my fps.

I thought this was meant to have been addressed?
