f1-f4 skills interruptable?
Different mechanics for different classes is a good thing… if you believe in the devs being able to be, even mediocrely, capable of balance.
If not, then search for those excuses for warrior buffs wherever you can…
Engi skills are interruptable. The F1 skill “Bandage-self” is essentially a heal skill which can be interrupted, the rest are instant-cast, thus removing the possibility of being interrupted in the first place. (assuming that you need a cast-time to interrupt)
Necro’s DS #4 (not necessarily an f4 but a class mechanic skill none the less) is probably the most commonly interrupted skill in the game. #2 Dark Path can be interrupted as well I believe and DS #1 can be interrupted as well. Pretty much everything the Necro does gets interrupted. Poor guys have cast times on everything, and almost no stability and zero invulns to speak of.
Engi’s Tool Belt skills with cast times can be interrupted, such as Grenade Barrage, Big ol bomb, Bandage Self, Rocket Kick, etc., though most people would be hard pressed to recognize the animations for anything other than Bandage Self with it’s 1 sec cast time.

All engies F1-F4 skills are interrupted, if not by stun then by daze because I see it happen.
I don’t think Mesmer skills are interruptable, and they shouldn’t be because just because your dazed doesn’t mean your clones are dazed with you.
Pretty much every skill that is not istant is interruptable, if it’s not a block/evade/invulnerability obviously…so yes warrior’s and engi’s, you can interrupt ranger’s pet aswell…but you have to daze (Kd, kb or whatever) the pet, won’t work on ranger himself..pet’s commands are istant as far as i know..

Actually most engineer toolbelt skills do have a cast time, although a couple are instant and some are very quick casts. Analyze and Surprise Shot are instant, but almost all other F1-F4 engineer skills can be interrupted by any cc skill that will normally interrupt anything else.

I’m pretty sure ele and thief can be interrupted, I don’t play guardian and I don’t play ranger but I assume just because you got interrupted doesn’t mean the pet is interrupted as well.
you can’t interrupt Ele’s attunement switching. just like weapon swapping, if it’s off CD you can swap weapons while stunned/dazed/etc.
Thief’s Steal is instant cast, so no interrupting that either.

Actually static field interrupts steal…but i don’t think you can manage to rupt it on cast
Thank you everyone for responses. Just trying to figure out why some aren’t instant cast so I needed data on the all first.

^this is BS
at least 50% of our F-skills have a (somewhat long) cast animation during which we can be interrupted. Examples are bigbomb, nade F-skill, throw wrench, all throw elixir skills, minefield etc
Hey, so I am trying to put together an argument and I have a question. What classes have ‘f’ skills that are interruptable.
Meaning that the skill use can be interrupted.Example is warrior burst skills. I think ranger pet skills if you know that they are coming.
Maybe engi skills? (Can someone confirm)
Rangers
Necro (sorta, can enter DS during a stun, can also gain stability from traits and use the DS abilities)
Warrior
Engi (Incendiary Ammo, Analyze, Suprise Shot, Throw Napalm, Super Speed all have no cast time, so most likely not interuptable. I would say most attack ones have a cast time, and passive buffs do not w/ some exceptions)
I believe that is all of them.
