forced auto balance does not give win reward
Volunteering is the simplest way to get a win out there. Literally, all you have to do is click one button and you are 100% getting a win bonus as long as you stick around for the entire game.
No win bonus on autobalance without volunteer is there for a reason. For example, it discourages those people who join when the score is heavily favored to one side. They are often not willing to volunteer when the time comes, and then expect a win when they did basically nothing. Then they get upset, when really it is their fault for not getting a win.
Personally, I always volunteer, even if it means me being 1v4 or something for a very long time. Depending on what class I’m on, I make it a game of “lets see how long it takes all of them to kill me”. Its rather fun to run around the map while they zerg behind you spamming all their buttons. Especially on Skyhammer, sometimes they get so caught up in killing you that you can easily trick them into falling through the panels or just plain knocking them off the edges.
If it would have been a fair fight I am very against chucking someone off of an edge. That’s just not cool. But when its 1v4, they deserve it, imo.
Plus, you tend to get some hilarious insults when you refuse to die or get some of them killed with panels/edges.
