Aye, just playing matches will net you some money, and whilst it may seem small it will soon add up. I have 70g (might actually be a few gold more, but conservative rounding) and thats just from pvp. Not to mention before the update I had 1 level 80 and the rest were level 2, after update I now have 4 level 80s fully decked out in exotics and 1 a 60 and 2 at 30.
Dont quote me on this as I am not fully sure if my mind is remembering this correctly, but someone said they bought a load of them mystery coffers and made a fair chunk of gold off them. Again double check that but I am sure its like the typical GW2 scratchcard system of getting stuff, so expect huge bulk buys and your bags full of stuff you are unsure of what to do with it.
