some classes can go for too long of time without receiving damage while they still dish out damage
They are too immune to cc and yet can put out cc.

So what you have is classes that can out heal your damage and you cant lock them down. To a certain degree this isn’t such a bad thing, however, some classes have this rotation of invulnerable and heal that makes well timed interrupts and burst nearly useless.

I think the problem is you cant dodge or interrupt these invulnerable moments. People kitten about the thief’s stealth but at least you can knock a thief out of his shadow refuge with timing….

The culprits seem to be warrior and ranger. I feel engi might be there as well.

so it is hard to lock down the warrior and ranger and engee because interrupts are negated for too long by these classes or the anti damage or invulnerability abilities negate the damage of other classes.

I think its a bad idea to give tankyness/healing and anti-interrupts/cc to a single class in the way they have implemented it.. either a longer cool down to nerf the rotation of invulnerable and heal , or reword the invulnerable/cant be interrupted play.

thieves and mesmers have invisibility and escapability, Rangers have invulnerablity and invisibility, warrior has stances, engys have elixers for becoming invulnerable aswell as invisible. Everybody has something and the second that 5 sec of invulnerability is gone you can kill them.

Those skills also have long cool downs, let them pass and target them.

I can do it on an ele, there is a cleric ele build that is UNKILLABLE in anything besides 1v4+

I can do it on an ele, there is a cleric ele build that is UNKILLABLE in anything besides 1v4+

Your build is unkillable for 4 players below hotjoin level, those who ignore traits like stone heart, condi bomb while you’re in earth…burst down when switching..but hey you’ll be long dead anyway with 11k HP

I’ve only had a day with it but I was using it unranked while swapping a few things with it. Not hotjoin.

I think warriors and Guards actually are struggling in the current environment to find thier place. I would do nothing to them.

Apoth ele is pretty rediculous atm, but hell you dont even need to be cele, apoth or clerics to see how amazing the water attunment heals are when 6 in Water. Zerk Fresh air gets regen and heals that can fill they’re whole HP bar in under 3 secs if chained properly.

For warrior at least, you need to active 2 utilities simultaneously to become “invulnerable”, which last 8 seconds and then you are vulnerable for 52 seconds…

And none of these are invulnerable. It doesn’t prevent hard cc/soft cc/ and any damaging condition. They’re hardly invulnerable.

Also Warrior is the bigger abuser of damage mitigation since 99% of them have it. There’s nothing else to choose from the master tier other than endure pain, so all Warrior who picked Defense Line always proc endure pain whether they like it or not. (Oh, and almost all Warriors pick defense line in pvp)
