Krall Peterson – Warrior
Piken Square
What makes you so sure the issues is at their end? Just because other internet based activities seems to work fine doesn’t necessarily mean the issues lies with the servers.
I play sPvP now and then and I have never had any issues with rubberbanding and such.

They haven’t been too bad for me either. That said, there seems to be a lot of threads around this topic. You know the saying… when there is smoke there is fire.
Either fix your terrible connectivity in spvp (2-3 seconds of skill lag, rubberbanding on blinks etc) or you will lose the remainder of the pvp fanbase. With love, a loyal follower of the series over 9 years who is tired of wasting his time trying to play in your lagfest. Yeah i know i sound negative as it gets but it is way too frustrating to play competitively with 500 ms while every other internet based activity runs smooth as a whistle.
Check your connection. Works fine for me. =P
Playing from a rural farm in Australia, I’ve found the networking for this game to be exceptional. I have a small delay as is par of course for someone in my geographical location, but see very little of the typical negative side affects of this.
I would suggest you perhaps first consider the possibility that the issue is on your end or somewhere on the way from you to ANet, not ANet’s servers themselves.
ANet support may be able to help you diagnose the issue, if you open up a ticket with them.
Additionally, if you live a long distance from the servers, maybe give a Tunneling service a trial. Pingzapper is my personal favourite and they do a free unlimited trial, but there are plenty of others if you put out a google search.
Good luck

As someone who worked in IT field particular communications.
I can tell the anet server IT’s love to hate things like “hey anet its your end that’s kittened up, figure it out and fix it” and the anet guys are like “I know my kitten good, how about you check your kitten”
So funny, how most complaint calls the complainer immediately accuses the IT that the IT end is bad. (my kitten aint working, its all your fault!)
The IT is more likely to happily help you if you start by proving that there isn’t an issue with your end and ask them if they could check there end. (I did internal loopback tests, they came good, have good comms with other people, but my comms with you is bad and external loopbacks to you are bad, can you please check your end).

I barely see lag in spvp. when I do, it is periodic and vanishes in seconds.
Sure its them? Doesn’t seem to be.
I don’t lag, I think this problem is on your end bro.
