I am hoping someone can explain what i’m missing. If ideally you are matched up with people with the same mmr your win/lose ratio should be like 50%. How did anet think you were going to progress in leagues with a win/loss ratio of 50%? Please tell me i’m missing something here because that doesn’t make sense to me.

Correct. A solo player can only reach Emerald or Sapphire with happiness. Premades cheating from every matchmaking and automatically go to the highest ranks.

This has the great advantage that you will never meet as a solo player on Premades. Wonderful.
